Parallel (Delta)
Delta robots, also known as parallel or spider robots, are robots whose base is connected to jointed parallelograms. These parallelograms move in a single end of arm tooling (EOAT) device, within a dome-shaped workspace. This type of robot is well-known in the industrial field for its ability to execute minute, precise motions.
Delta robots are primarily used when you need to produce groups of objects and those objects need to be placed in an assembly pattern or in a container. Alongside vision technologies, delta robots can identify and select a range of object colors, shapes, and sizes and pick and place working based on a programmed pattern or design.
These robots can work with more than 100 parts per minute. A major selling point for a delta robot is that its heavy motor is attached to its frame. This allows its moving parts to be extremely light in comparison.
Delta robots are commonly used in:
- packing
- 高精度组装业务
- medical/pharmaceutical operations
- food processing
- cosmetics
- soldering
- 胶粘剂调剂

Actuator with Integrated Servo Drive
The actuator features an integrated servo drive utilizing CANopen® communication. This evolutionary product eliminates the need for an external drive and greatly improves wiring while retaining high-positional accuracy and torsional stiffness in a compact housing. Ideal for use in robotics.
Castrol Advanced Lubricants for Robotics
无袖长衫ts require the right lubrication in every moving joint, which provides wear protection for joints, bearings, sliders, chains and gears and improves the performance of industrial robots. The choice of lubricant has a major impact on production efficiency.
DRIVEN pays a visit to the robot on four legs
Wherever it goes, it is sure to attract attention. The red walking robot ANYmal, on the cover of the maxon magazine DRIVEN, represents the increasing number of inspection robots in use worldwide.
Gear Shift Assembly Encapsulation Cell
This work cell was initially designed to run 4 parts, and since then 4 more parts have been added in accordance with design changes that occurred in subsequent model years on this product line.
H-825 Hexapod 6-Axis Stage
High precision 6-Axis Stages are essential for precision alignment and positioning A Hexapod 6-axis stage is based on parallel kinematics and has many advantages over conventional stacked multi-axis stages.
Kollmorgen Introduces a New Generation of Robot-ready Frameless Servo Motors
Kollmorgen, a global leader in motion control systems, today announced the new TBM2G series of frameless servo motors, introducing features that simplify the design of collaborative, surgical, aerospace and defense and other robots while delivering optimal performance in a lighter, more compact package. These new motors will complement Kollmorgen’s existing TBM and KBM series of frameless mot
maxon adds dynamism to robotic drives
maxon presents a new frameless BLDC motor with matching encoder that really comes into its own in dynamic applications.
Quarter Window Encapsulation Assembly Cell
Hil-Man Automation was commissioned to design, build, and integrate an encapsulation work cell into an existing Honda CRV Rear Quarter Window line that would process 2 sets of windows at a time.
Quarter Window Robotic Priming Assembly Cell
This robotic priming cell was designed as an integration on an automotive glass encapsulation line. In order for the molding to adhere permanently to the window the glass needs to be primed prior to being molded.
Rear Slider Priming Bonding Assembly Cell
When there are multiple pieces to a window assembly, it can be beneficial to integrate all of those operations into one cell. On this particular cell, we were assembling a rear slider for a pick-up truck.
Universal Glass Priming Assembly Cell
This robotic priming cell is for the assembly side of the automotive glass industry. This priming cell applies the priming needed in order to adhere the locating pins and spacers onto the windshield.
Windshield Camera Bracket Bonding Line
This system was designed to bond camera brackets onto the windshield by conveying raw glass into the area, dispensing a precise shot of urethane onto the camera bracket, applying it to the windshield, and then conveying the finished product out of the cell.
