OCTOPUZ Small Changes, Big Impact

We have a number of exciting things still to come later this year. And today, we've launched a new release of OCTOPUZ that focuses on many different areas of our software, with one goal in mind: let's make our OLRP experience even better.

Enhanced usability with Floor-Wall

Small changes, big impact
We've made a bunch of small improvements under the hood to improve the performance of OCTOPUZ, particularly when working with very large paths (I'm talking thousands and thousands of points). Most notably, it'll take significantly less time to use Modify and Transform.

We've also made some other changes we'd like you to know about:

  • 从Yaskawa的备份中导入焊接语句:weld statements posted from OCTOPUZ for a Yaskawa robot can be imported back into OCTOPUZ via Import from Robot Backups. These motions will come back in as weld statements with tool on/off commands and other welding settings.

  • Start and End Offset by Percentage:in Path Settings, “Start Offset” and “End Offset” can now be set using a percentage value, where the path will be offset by that value as a percentage of the entire path. For example, if your path is 100 mm, and you have Start Offset set to 10%, then the path will be 90 mm in length and begin 10 mm in.
